Members' News for the month of April

Happy Spring everyone!  Hope you're actually getting some nice weather.  Here, in Toledo, Ohio it still feels a bit more like winter but I can tell it's coming.
Our Etsy Metal team members will be out and about in April, look for them in your area and stop by and say 'hi".  We're a friendly bunch and would love to meet readers of our blog.

Miranda Scott (House on Hudson) will be holding Edmonton's first ever Wedding Ring Workshop, at the City Arts Centre, April 28th and May 5th.
She will also be selling her work at the "Make It! Edmonton" spring edition show, April 12, 13th and 14th.
Andrea of ArtigianoJewelBox is included the new Ganoksin online exhibition, "Holding Place: A Repository of Containers and Vessels by Metalsmiths Around the World", with a tiny fabricated watering can.  See the work by clicking on the active link for the exhibit.  Congrats to Andrea!!

Laura Bracken’s blog was highlighted in the Winter issue of Metal Clay Today’s E-Magazine in Lori Phillips article “Best of the Blogs”.  You can read the magazine by clicking on the link.  Laura's mention is on page 58-59 of the PDF file.

Maria Whetman of Fluxplay has a body of work in the exhibition "Re-used Refuse" at the fabulous Harley Gallery in Nottinghamshire, UK.
For a sneak peek at her work in the show, check out Maria's blog.

2Roses will be selling their work at the 2013 Art of Adorning, held on the grounds of the Bowers Museum Saturday April 27th. Art of Adorning is the largest and oldest art and craft event held in Orange County, and draws sellers from across the U.S. as well as Africa, Europe and Asia. Sponsored by the Bead Society of Orange County, the event has long been regarded as a "don't miss" opportunity for local artisans to acquire exotic and unusual components, materials and supplies from around the world. And last but not least,
Kathryn Riechert will be participating in the Dogwood Festival in Atlanta, GA April 19-21, 2013.
