2009 September Blog Carnival

Several of the team choose participate in a once-a-month blog carnival. We converge on the first Monday of each month, writing about the same topic, from our own experience and interpretation.

It is my joy to bring you the little blurb each month. For September 7th, 2009; we asked: "What was your first piece of metalsmithed jewellery?" Some thoughts to flesh it out include, but are not limited to: What did it mean to you? What materials? Silver price at the time? Were you in class/ home? What would you do different now to it? What did you learn from making it? And so on.

I had a great time writing this entry, and am looking very forward to reading all of our members responses. A little bit more insight into our members' backgrounds. I hope you enjoy! :)
