Project Runway: Season 10; Episode 4 - Women on the go!

Women on the go!
Air 8/9/12
My Lifetime, Thursdays 9pmPST
The designers had to create a look for a woman on the go. A single look that is stylish and fashionable, but at the same time it has versatility, it's practical and comfortable. It has to last throughout the whole day, but it has to be their own aesthetic. The designers get 30 minutes to sketch in Michael Kors store
For our EtsyMetal Translation:
Create a piece that is stylish, fashionable, and also has versatility, is practical and comfortable. Something that can be worn to work during the day, but will also dress up an outfit for the evening. You can go to Michael Kors site for inspiration: ... QgodDBAAGQ
If you like you can design if for one of the outfits from the show, just submit a picture of the outfit if you do that.

“For this week's challenge, I created a simple, versatile piece that can be worn three ways...
Sterling silver, copper, vitreous enamel”

“I was inspired by Christopher's design with the sassy leather jacket paired with the beautiful black draping dress.
So. I used a black leather cuff with a roll patterned and oxidized floral motif copper charm. The copper piece has been riveted to an aluminum background that was then folded over the leather bracelet to hold it in place securely.
An absolutely easy to wear adornment for day or night. Or both.”

Season 10, Episode 5: It's My Way on the Runway

My Lifetime, Thursdays 9pmPST
The designers had to create a cohesive collection for a working woman. They worked in teams and had a professional photo shoot with the winners having their collection in a fashion spread in Marie Clair magazine.
For our EtsyMetal Translation:
Create a collection for a working woman. Try taking a stylish photo of the collection in a working woman setting and for those of us that have blogs (in addition to the EM blog) let's post the entries as a fashion spread.
