Project Runway season 12 episode 3–“AN UNCONVENTIONAL CONEY ISLAND”

Project Runway season 12 episode 3–“AN UNCONVENTIONAL CONEY ISLAND”
Our version of the challenge:
This was an unconventional materials challenge on PR, but I'm not sure those who are participating can get their hands on carnival prizes in time.
Create a piece of jewelry inspired by carnival games and prizes. Feel free to incorporate some unconventional materials, even carnival prizes, in your finished piece. Eat a Yoplait product while you're thinking about it.

Sue said: “I got a couple plastic monkeys from Cracker Jack boxes- gotta love the prize inside! - and casted them in sterling silver. It seemed to me that they were in love and wanted to be together, so i soldered them kissing and having their tails and front arms make a heart. i laughed the whole time i made this. sometimes metalsmithing is just too much fun! hey, It WAS the unconventional challenge.”

Our next challenge due to Thursday August 15 is:

TIE THE KNOT

Season 12, Episode 4
This week's challenge involved bow ties and ended up being a sort of homage to marriage equality.
