Monthly Challenge July- "Chain, Beads and Texture"

Our July challenge was to use chain, beads and texture in any type of jewelry piece we liked. I think you are really going to enjoy our entries this month!

This is an etched bumble bee that was an epic fail. I pulled it out of my scrap bin and repurposed it for myself ! This is a small brooch that I intend to use as a top button on my shirts. Garnet and citrine beads.

PROTOPLANETARY DISK - 32 inch copper bead chain link necklace - cold connected

Turquoise Milagro Heart pendant necklace : There is a leaf roller printed on the backside and stamping on the front for texture. Turquoise nugget beads have been added to the chain. All sterling silver, with a fine silver hand carved scalloped bezel. The pendant is 2" x 1-1/2" in size, 18-20" chain.

Homecoming Necklace - Luna Agate & Freshwater Pearls - Handmade recycled sterling silver chain with textured hydrangea links and closure. Fine silver bezel with recycled sterling silver backing. Oxidized.

This piece started out as a hoop earring! You never know on my bench what a piece will evolve into, but I usually like it.

Asymmetrical Textured Sterling , Rolo Chain and Pink Tourmaline Bead Earrings.

It's August and so hot so lets embrace the heat and design a piece worthy of this element. Some examples could be a fiery gem, flame bezel or your interpretation of the blistering sun!
