May Monthly Challenge
"A Day in the Sun!"
This month we asked our members to make jewelry seasonally inspired!
Summer is almost here so let's create a beautiful beach themed piece worthy of a day in the sun!
Summer, sun, beach - and of course fish! Whether the
blue color of the sea or the sky, the apatite fits perfectly for tanned skin.
The little fish and the metal beads are made of sterling silver.
When I think of the ocean and beach I imagine pirates and watery treasures. For this months theme I've made an enameled skull with a treasure booty of pearls.
Beachstone, Sea Glass & Sterling Silver.
My childhood summers were spent at the Oregon Coast with the waves crashing on rocks near the tall arched bridges.
