Project Runway: Season 10; Episode 1 – A TIMES SQUARE ANNIVERSARY PARTY“

Hello  and welcome.

This post is our first challenge for Project Runway season 10.
Just to let you know that this challenge is open to everyone !

Season 10, Episode 1: Design a corresponding outfit to the one brought from home to show to a live audience in Times Square.
Broadcast on July 19th.
Translation: take a pic of one of our favorite pieces we made and use this as our inspiration, and make a companion piece for/from this.
Example: you made a necklace before, this week you will make a ring, or earrings to go with it.
take a pic of both so we can see them side by side for the blog post.

I made these earring several years ago.

I've been working on this necklace for the last month that was inspired by the earrings above. They are titled Dentata from the Dangerous Vagina series. They are formed copper with several layers of torch-fired enamels. The chain is handmade fused copper links with a heat patina.

The Unconventional Material Challenge has this season's contestants try to turn sweets from Dylan's Candy Bar into gorgeous couture outfits.

We will post your name with a link and a picture of your piece on our blog. Thedeadline for guest submissions will be Thursday at 12 am (midnight), Pacific Standard Time. The new blog posts and the new challenge will go up the Friday after the new episode airs.
