Project Runway Season 11, Episode 10: The Art of Fashion

Season 11, Episode 10: The Art of Fashion
Challenge due Thursday, April 4 (midnight your time):
After a tour of the Guggenheim, the designers will be creating a work of wearable art and it has to be big! They will also create a ready-to-wear look that is compatible with the art look. They will be creating the textiles themselves and have 30 minutes in the museum to sketch!
Translation: Another one right up the Etsy Metal alley! Create a piece based on a modern work of art!
Evelyn Markasky
evelyn says: Aactually I have 2 things! While I was making the 1st thing, I was not liking it at all, even after I spent most of the day on it. It was rather frustrating. So before I finished it, I decided to start working on something else. Then I looked at the first one again and found that maybe I did like it!”

The designers had to create a fashion forward editorial look for a celebrity fashion story that will run in May 2013 issue of Marie Claire, which will be worn by Jordana Brewster. No red carpet looks, no gowns, no pants or t-shirts and it needs to be bold and fashion forward.

Welcome to our EtsyMetal monthly Blog Carnival!
Blog Carnival is about a group of our members sharing their experience on a common topic

THIS MONTH'S TOPIC:

April Fools' Day is celebrated in many countries on April 1 every year. Sometimes referred to as All Fools' Day, April 1 is not a national holiday, but is widely recognized and celebrated as a day when people play practical jokes and hoaxes on each other. Do you like practical jokes? Do you play them or are you the one played? Best one you'd like to tell us about?! Any funny jewelry you have made? Or received?

Read and see what some of our members think. You are welcome to make comments and ask questions! Enjoy.
