Hi All! Not too much to report on this week as far as the charm swap goes....We have news from Laura of Laura Roberson who says "I'm finally getting around to settling on a design for my charms. I'm creating a collection of jewelry based on my town's glacial 'potholes' and thought that they'd make nice charms as well. Just working out the details now and waiting for more silver to arrive. I should have a photo or 2 to share next week." If you don't know what Laura is talking about she is from Massachusetts and you can find lots of interesting info and photos on the "glacial potholes" by "Googling" them. I am very curious to see what she will come up with for a charm!
And even though I, Michele from Michele Grady Designs, have an idea of what material I would like to make my charms from....I still haven't had a chance to work on a design for them yet.. I am thinking maybe something floral...but lucky for me there is still time to play around and change my mind!
Until next time~ Michele

Etsy Metal 3xR Challenge Week 26
There are some lovely pieces resulting from week 26 of our 3xR Challenge! The offerings include an asymmetrical pair of oxidized earrings with citrine, an abstract pod with a pop of cool green, a pendant with an impressive chunk of rusty drusy, a chunky ring with a white chalcedony, elegant pearls, and pendant clusters with nature castings. As usual, our artists demonstrate that handmade art is worth so much more than the sum of its parts.

Monthly Theme Challenge - Postcards from Paradise
This month, we asked members to work with the theme Postcards from Paradise, to use inspiration from their favorite vacation spot in a piece of jewelry or related art. It looks like everybody is dreaming of a relaxation break, because we got a good response.
Cynthia Del Giudice was inspired by the beauty of her own region and created this piece using wood and horseshoe nails.
Laura, of LjB Jewelry, was inspired by the beaches of Cape Cod. She set a piece of beach glass into a sterling silver ring.

SimplyMega has been creating postcard brooches for years, inspired by her time in New Zealand. It's titled Moon over Motueka.
Laura at Bracken Designs was inspired by Kyoto architectural details in this pendant.
Francine created a pendant inspired by the beach at Larimar.
KSkiles Studio created silver pebble anchor charms, inspired by the stones and lighthouses of Lake Michigan beaches.
